Wenzhou University Business School (Finance School) is located in the North Campus of Wenzhou University, Wenzhou Higher Education Park. The college has a strong faculty. There are nearly 100 faculty members, including more than 80 full-time teachers, 15 professors, 34 associate professors, more than 50 doctors, and more than 30 master supervisors. There are more than 2,000 full-time undergraduates, postgraduates, and international students. The college has Department of Finance, Department of International Trade, Department of Financial Management, Department of Business Administration, Department of International Teaching, Experimental Teaching Centre, and Training Centre of Wenzhou University Business School.

The school currently has 5 undergraduate programmes (financial engineering, international trade, business administration, financial management, marketing), and 3 international student enrollment majors (international economics and trade, marketing, business administration). Among them, financial engineering and international trade have been approved for national first-class professional construction. International trade is a specialty of Zhejiang Province, financial engineering and financial management are key majors of Wenzhou City, and financial engineering, marketing and business management are key school-level majors. It has a master's degree in applied economics, a master's degree in finance, and a master's degree in socialist market economy theory and practice. It also recruits master's students at home and abroad. The "Applied Economics" of the college was rated as Zhejiang Provincial Key Discipline and Zhejiang First-Class Discipline (B).

In the past five years, based on the regional characteristics of Wenzhou, the teachers of the college have carried out various studies around the needs of Wenzhou’s economic and social development. They have undertaken more than 100 projects, including 1 national major project, 2 key projects, 18 general projects, and research results. It was adopted by the National Social Science Planning Office "Achievements Report" and "China Social Science News-National Social Science Fund Special Issue". 46 papers have been published or reprinted in full text in authoritative and above journals such as "Economic Research" and "Xinhua Digest", and have won 8 Zhejiang Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Awards. The college actively serves local economic construction and undertakes a large number of decision-making consultations. The research results have been rated as excellent expert suggestions by the Ministry of Education, and have received affirmative approval from the leaders of the central ministries and commissions, Zhejiang Province and Wenzhou City for many times.

The college adheres to the highlights of the internationalization work, obtained 2 international business certifications, officially became a member of the United Nations PRME, and was officially accepted as a bronze member by the BGA. The college currently has 37 returned teachers and has a special Ministry of Education. It has established cooperative relations with more than 10 universities in the United States, Italy, Denmark, Britain, Japan and other countries, and carried out 3+1, 4+X and 2+1 programs for undergraduate students and graduate students.

The College’s Economics and Management Experimental Teaching Centre is a provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration Centre. It has 1 construction project of the Ministry of Education's "Scientific Work Ability Enhancement Plan (Ten Million Project)", 2 Zhejiang virtual simulation experiment projects, and Wenzhou University virtual simulation experiment project 1 piece.
